A. The IDR Meter Portal is a web-site provided by Oncor to allow end-use consumers the ability to view their IDR meter data interval by interval.
Q. How do I request a sign-on for the IDR Meter Portal?
A. Sign-on's are not requested for the IDR Meter Portal. All IDR accounts have already been setup on the portal.
Q. Who can use the IDR Meter Portal?
A. The IDR Meter Portal was created by Oncor for end-use consumers to view their IDR meter data.
Q. What is the Advanced Meter Web-Site?
A. The Advanced Meter Web-Site is a site provided by Oncor for interested parties to create advanced meter requests and track the progress of the requests. In most cases an IDR (interval data recorder) is an advanced meter.
Q. How do I request a sign-on for the Advanced Meter Web-Site?
A. Before entering the advanced meter site, the system will require you to sign-on. If you do not have a sign-on the system will require you to create your own sign-on by providing some background information.
Q. Who can use the Advanced Meter Web-Site?
A. The advanced meter web-site is primarily used by CR's (competitive retailers) and ESP's (energy service providers) to request an advanced meter install or repair service. Although end-use consumers can use the site to request energy pulses. If an end-use consumer desires and IDR then they must contact their competitive retailer.
Q. If I request an advanced meter on the web-site, do I still need to submit an EDI transaction?
A. Yes. The advanced meter web-site does not replace the EDI transaction that is required to bill the competitive retailer for the service requested. The web-site provides the utility with additional information needed to process the request. And the web-site provided the competitive retailer or energy service provider with the benefit of tracking the request and additional information upon the completion of the request.
