2003 Competitive Retailer Workshop Huge Success
Oncor Competitive Retailer Relations hosted its fifth Competitive Retailer Workshop on November 12th & 13th, 2003 at the Adams Mark Hotel in Downtown Dallas.
As the 2nd year of Retail Electric Competition draws to a close, 48 individuals representing 27 Competitive Retailers from across the State participated in Oncor's interactive workshop. Oncor officers and managers made presentations on topics in the areas of Competitive Retailer Resources, Customer Care, Competitive Retailer Issues and Coming Events in 2004. A new feature of the workshop this year included display and information booths from a variety of Oncor groups such as the Customer Focus Team, Customer & Market Services, Operations Center, Economic Development, Energy Efficiency Programs, Metering Services, Project Management & Design, Relationship Management with Seasonal Lighting & Street Lighting information. These booths allowed more interaction between guests and Oncor employees on various services offered by Oncor.
Brenda Jackson, Senior Vice President, introduced Oncor's “Let Me Help You” Campaign and stated that our employees are refocused on helping all customers, the end use customer as well as the Competitive Retailer. Process Improvement teams are working hard to fill gaps in the market and systems in the new unregulated world today and employees are recognized for their efforts to help the customer above and beyond their normal job responsibilities.
Rob Trimble, President of Oncor, welcomed the attendees at lunch on Thursday and related some interesting challenges Oncor employees face in meeting the customer's needs in the field.

Oncor's REP Relations team hosted its fifth workshop for Competitive Retailers on Wednesday Nov. 12 and Thursday Nov. 13th. The workshop provided a forum for information sharing and valuable discussion among CRs and the Oncor Electric Delivery Team.
